Saltbox Studios Refit - Christchurch

Saltbox Studios Christchurch (formerly BeatBox) in association with RDU 98.5 FM have just completed a full refit of their control room. STL Pro Audio was proud to be a principal supplier of equipment.

Hardware selection was made based on creating an intuitive, functional and professional control room for visiting engineers, bands, and producers as the studio is used not only commercially, but for 'Live To Airs' for RDU. 

Equipment Provided: 

• Wavebone FIN studio rack for their master buss chain.

Which is made up of Buzz Audio Renaissance EQ, and a Rupert Neve Design Master Buss Processor.

For tracking the team chose:

• Heritage Audio HA73-EQ X2 A stereo Neve 1073 Preamp and EQ

• Phoenix Audio Ascent 2 Stereo Preamp A stereo Neve style Preamp

• Buzz Audio QSP-20 Quad 4 Channel Preamplifier

For near-field monitoring they went with a pair of Focal Alpha 65's & Genelec 8030s
