Nadia Reid Joins the Telefunken Artist Family

STL Pro Audio & Telefunken Electroakustik Welcome Nadia Reid to the Telefunken Family

STL Pro Audio and Telefunken Electroakustik are proud to announce Nadia Reid joins us as part of the worldwide Telefunken artist family.

Nadia has claimed her place as one of New Zealand's most experienced and respected songwriters. With four albums, a Silver Scroll (2017) and many award nominations, it's hard not to agree. Nadia has toured Europe and NZ multiple times and even appeared on the "Later with Jools Holland" show via the BBC. These incredible accolades have given Nadia some serious experience both on the road and in the studio.

We are ecstatic that Nadia chose the Telefunken Elektroakustik M80 as her main vocal microphone for touring. Nadia demoed the M80 on the advice of her live sound engineer (James Goldsmith) at shows in 2020.

James explains, "The M80 gives Nadia's voice a studio like quality that sounds natural and doesn't require drastic EQ'ing like traditional dynamic microphones, but most importantly it's rejection to feedback is incredible. In short, The M80 has a fantastic frequency response and is very loud, you can turn it louder than many other high end microphones."
