Classic FET Compression with a Twist

In addition to the iconic FET compressor features we all know and love, such as blazing-fast transient response and “All Buttons In” mode, the ng76 has a couple tricks up its sleeve. First, its Saturation Mode disables the compression circuit and lets the ng76 act as a saturation box or a clipper. Secondly, the ng76 features an additional Mix knob for quick and easy parallel compression. The ng76 also features Full Total Recall with plug-in control. It has Carnhill transformers at both the input and output stages, giving this great compressor a unique-yet-familiar color with +24dBu of headroom. All this, plus familiar I/O, attack, release, and ratio settings, prime the Wes Audio ng76 FET compressor to quickly become a modern classic.

Hardware and software control

You'll love using the Wes Audio ng76 in the studio. It's completely controllable through its companion plug-in, giving you total control over its operation. That same software control also provides a Full Total Recall feature for storing and recalling your favorite settings. The ng76's Saturation mode disables the FET circuit and generates more saturation, allowing for additional color and soft clipping. Combined with an additional Mix knob for dry/wet parallel compression settings, the Wes Audio ng76 lets you dial in the perfect amount of FET compression for your productions
