Flexible 3-band control for any source material

With its crossover filters tunable from 40Hz to 2kHz and 2kHz to 15kHz, _Pandora offers precise 3-band dynamics control over any source material. Spec’d with compression ratios ranging from 1.5:1 to 10:1, _Pandora is a natural for bus compression, fortifying stereo mixes and stems, crushing drum overheads and room mics, creating a rock-solid wall of bass, and much more. But naturally, it also works wonders on individual tracks. Complete with a Mix knob for instant parallel compression plus selectable sidechain filters for fine-tuning the compressor’s responsiveness, _Pandora is a flexible compressor for any music studio.

Full recall and automation when used with NG500-compatible racks

While the WesAudio _Pandora 500 Series compressor module will work with many standard 500 Series racks, you’ll be able to tap into advanced digital control when you load it into one of WesAudio’s NG500-compatible racks, like its _TITAN series, which allows for digital control over your modules, offering full session recall and supporting automation from your DAW. In a typical 500 Series rack, just connect a USB cable directly to _Pandora for full recall capabilities.

The all-analog _Pandora boasts a generous +24dBu of headroom — no sonic compromises here. And if you want to add a little something special to your audio on the way through, switch on _Pandora’s THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) mode, which is available on each band. With selectable Med and High modes, THD saturates your signal for added punch and rich harmonic complexity. WesAudio: 100% analog, full digital control

WesAudio, a company masterminded by Radoslaw Wesolowski and headquartered in Poland, spearheaded an initiative titled “ng,” which stands for next-generation. The company’s first ng products were designed around 500 Series modules with a special connector that mates with receiver connectors in the company’s _TITAN NG500 Recall chassis. On its rear panel, the _TITAN is fitted with a USB jack for connection to your computer, as well as Ethernet for networked setups. All ng500-compatible modules in the rack are able to communicate with your computer via a single data cable. The ng program was then extended to 19-inch rack equipment. The gear — both 500 Series and rackmount — includes free downloadable software that appears in your DAW session as a standard plug-in and lets you control your analog hardware with software precision. Every setting and automation move is saved along with your DAW session file.
